Offer (private sale)
A gallery's formal proposal of specific works at specific prices to a specific client.
In private-market selling, the offer is the pivotal artifact: works, prices, terms, and a window of priority extended to one collector. It's relationship-scoped — the same work may be offered sequentially down an interest list.
Offers benefit from being records rather than loose emails: sent from the gallery's own mailbox but tracked (opened? viewed?), tied to the deal and contact, and convertible to an invoice without re-keying when accepted.
